secondary combustion

The appliance is equipped with a secondary combustion system.  Preheated air is forced through the perforations in the tertiary baffle (plate at the top of the stove) which re-ignites the gases and burn them for a second time before they are released into the flue system.  This ensures high efficiency and means less pollutants are sent into the atmosphere helping to protect the environment from harmful emissions.
