Now its the turn of British Gas to increase prices

A few weeks ago, I blogged that Scottish Power had announced a pretty hefty price increase for gas and I said then I didn't think it would be the last time I mentioned this. At the weekend, British Gas announced their increase of 20% for the price of gas. Now its the turn of British Gas to increase prices

Vermont Castings has a new UK home

Alot can happen in a few months in stoveland. We were delighted to be appointed as the new UK importer for Vermont Castings at the end of April and have since then visited the foundry and enamelling plant in Vermont, New England which was a worthwhile trip. Vermont Castings has a new UK home

It's freezing

Winter has certainly come early this season and with snow, ice and sub zero temperatures gripping the country. It would appear that we in Birmingham are probably the only part of the country to have been spared of inches of snow - we had just about an inch of the white stuff. It's freezing

 

Bergen delays

Since it's launch in the summer, we have been inundated with orders for the Bergen stove by Nordpeis. We are delighted that this new stove has been received so enthusiastically in the market place but this success has led to delays in being able to supply enough stoves to fulfill orders on our normal 1 week lead time. I appreciate it is only August and the days are still warm and sometimes sunny but in only a few weeks time, the evenings will start drawing in and become cooler and you will start to light your stove again. Preparation is the key!
